Star Wars: Legion - Bossk Painting Tutorial

Spray the model with Chaos Black Spray. Next up, paint the armoured chest plate of the flight suit with Grey Seer followed by a coat of Basilicanum Grey Contrast paint.
Once this has dried, it's time to drybrush the model with Corax White.

Paint the flight suit with Averland Sunset followed by a wash with a 50/50 mix of Fuegan Orange and Lahmian Medium. Once dried highlight the folds of the flight suit with Yriel Yellow.
For the Bossks scales, start with a basecoat of Deathworld Forest followed by an Agrax Earthshade Wash. Once the wash has dried give the scales a drybrush of Ogryn Camo.
For the eyes and breathing tube, start with a base of Mephiston Red and a wash of Nuln Oil. Oce dry, high light both with Evil Sunz Scarlet. A further highlight of Wild Rider Red on the eyes is optional.

We also want to tidy up the flight suit webbing as well as the leg and arm cuffs with a coat of Corvus Black.

Similarly, we want to paint the gun and dioxis grenade with a coat of Iron Warriors.

In this step we paint any metal tubing and clasps of the flight suit with Leadbelcher, and highlight all the webbing with Dawnstone.

To finish up the small details of the model we use Ushabti Bone for the teeth and nails, Temple Guard Blue for the hoses of the flight suit and Evil Sunz Scarlet for the infill of the dioxis grenade.
Lastly we wash the metallic areas with Nuln Oil.

For the base we start with a coat of Catachan Flesh followed by a drybrush of Ushabti Bone.
Finish it off with a wash of Agrax Eartshade.
Once dry, paint tbe base rim and add any flock or tufts that you wish.
