B2 Battle Droid Painting Tutorial

Spray the model with Leadbelcher spray. Touch up any missed parts with leadbelcher to ensure complete coverage

Wash the entire model with nuln oil paying attention to make sure that it doesn’t pool too much on the flatter areas.

Dry brush the entire model with leadbelcher. This catches the edges and adds more depth to the model. Add a second layer of Nuln oil over the flexible stomach armour and any missed crevices.

Paint the sensor with Khorne red. Highlight the lower edge of the sensor with wild rider red and add a dot of white scar at the top of the sensor. This mimics light hitting the lense. Finally use ‘ardcoat over the sensor to give the appearance of a glass cover.

Basing: I went with a geonosis style base on this model. Paint the base Rhinox Hide to cover the Leadbelcher spray. Cover the base with Martian Ironcrust and allow to dry completely. Wash the base with seraphim sepia. Dry brush with Tuskor fur and Jokaero orange to add more depth. Finally paint the rim in the colour of your choice, and add flock or tufts. I went with abaddon black and a beige grass tuft.
